Whilst the company name includes the term ‘consultancy’, Bruce does not seek to deliver consultancy in what appears to be the stereotypical connotation. 'Subject Matter Expert' consultancy is provided rather than 'management' consultancy.
His aim is to work with an organisation to actually deliver required outcomes/solutions effectively (and innovatively where appropriate), in a way which provides a sustainable approach and ensures knowledge transfer. This can take many guises but is essentially about ‘doing’ (in conjunction with existing staff) following a practical results-orientated approach, rather than talking about it and then writing substantive reports for others to try and implement.
Bruce's expertise and knowledge will add significant value, enabling swift outcomes in very demanding timescales and contexts.
Bruce recognises that each organisation is unique, and has its own challenges, culture and approach. He will listen to what is sought, adapt to the environment, and seek to find solutions that are robust and sustainable.
He is happy to travel to any part of the UK or beyond - to work on-site, or equally happy to work off-site - or, as is often the case, a mixture of the two dependent on circumstances/requirements. Prior to commencement, a Scope of Engagement would be produced outlined what was within scope and outwith, and associated terms.
A beneficial outcome of Bruce's involvement is that, in the event of need (e.g. staff illness or departure) at critical points in the year, he would more quickly be able to step in and support an institution.
